Due to the upcoming launch of a portfolio of products, this company is expanding as they build a new team focussed on supporting patients suffering from Rare Diseases. As part of this exciting launch they are in search of a proven senior medical manager to support the pre-launch and launch of these innovative products that will have a significant impact on patients' lives.

 

Reporting into the Head of Medical Strategy, your responsibilities will include:   

  • developing and executing medical strategy across Australia
  • managing the rare disease medical Opex budget
  • building and maintaining relationships with KOL's, HCP's and patient organisations
  • leadership and ongoing management of PSP's and PFP's
  • reviewing and approving promotional and non-promotional material
  • driving the planning and execution of symposium's, speaker training, and advisory boards
  • collaboration with, supporting and influencing your ANZ cross-functional teams

   The successful candidate will have:

  • PhD (preferred), Pharmacy or Public Health qualifications 
  • proven track record in a strategic medical affairs role (e.g. Medical Manager, Medical Advisor ect.)
  • pre-launch experience highly regarded
  • strong presentation and relationship building skills
  • excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • strong written and verbal communication skills

 

Candidates with a background in Rare disease or Neurology will be highly regarded.
