Primary Objective
To drive the Loan business in supporting our Customers and Patients across Australia. The Loan Manager will oversee multiple Loan Warehouses and drive efficiency and the highest level of service to support our Customers. The role will be required to manage all inventory in the Loan environment.
Key Accountability Areas
Asset Management
Implement procedures and processes for effective KPI optimisation and movement across all Australian Customers to increase asset and Inventory utilisation.
Collaborate with Sales and Marketing Stakeholders and process owners to identify and drive functional process improvements associated with Loan management
Ensure Field assets are properly differentiated avoiding confusion as to their intended use.
Ensure all Loan Inventory is available within Expiry guidelines
Drive Loan Inventory counts working with direct and indirect state sites.
Implement and execute suitable Root-Cause-Analysis (RCA) techniques to reduce inventory and asset losses from stock counts and asset validation exercises.
Financial Insights
Conduct regular audits and reviews including asset utilisation data.
Provide effective communication of any key risks and opportunities to management and on-going business partnering to the Business.
Stakeholder Management
Internally, this position must develop relationships with regional sales leaders in each product division, and with key operations staff such as Inventory, Master Data, Schedulers, Kit Build and Ops Leads in Australia.
Provide technical leadership in the region to ensure governance of the asset deployment strategy.

Team Management
Lead and participate at all scheduled meetings (Regional/National Team).
Provide support to team colleagues through sharing information, problem solving, contributing innovative ideas and offering constructive opinions - leading to improved individual and team effectiveness.
Seek and utilise expertise of all team members (including other Divisions) and Managers to improve performance.
Ensure Management is alerted to opportunities or problems requiring action outside of your sphere of influence.
Be an agent of change to help initiate and manage the change process when required.
Skills, Education & Experience
Strong analytical skills
Logistics and asset management experience
SAP background in operations and medical devices
Intermediate understanding of accounting and finance principles
Valid NSW Driver’s License
Bachelors Degree or similar in Engineering or related field
