Join a highly respected, global pharmaceutical company, taking the lead to establish the ANZ compliance function. This is a newly created role, building on established compliance processes, to elevate the function and partner with the entire ANZ business. Reporting to the GM and with dotted line to the HR Director, your responsibilities will include:
- Create the compliance architecture and lead the culture of accountability
- Actively engage the leadership team in driving the tone from the top in integrity and ethical business conduct
- Influencing all departments in alignment with global corporate compliance strategy
- Own business wide advisory on compliance matters, counselling on industry code, interactions with HCPs, government and patient associations.
- Create training and embed learning on latest compliance programs
- Manage audits, reporting and support continuous improvement in systems and process
To be considered for this role, you will bring:
- 5+ years in compliance functions in Pharmaceuticals or Medical Devices
- Qualifications in Business, Law, Science or similar preferred
- Certifications in Compliance, Privacy or Corporate Governance advantageous
- Confidence consulting at executive team level and partnering with global/APAC teams
- Ability to influence others to drive action and uncover potential risk to the business
- Experience creating and executing compliance learning programs
- Effective communication and presentation skills directed to sophisticated and front-line audiences
- Experience in autonomous roles in lean and matrix organizations
- Strong project management and strategic planning skills
Having recent experience in consulting, or in a small or start-up organisation will be highly regarded. The key to this role is being able to engage across the whole organisation to drive and balance the culture of compliance and accountability and enabling commercial outcomes.
