As part of their medical affairs team, we have a newly created role for an experienced medical affairs professional in VIC or NSW to play a critical role in establishing partnerships with key opinion leaders who treat diseases and help their patients to live better lives.

 

Reporting to the Medical Affairs Lead, your key responsibilities will include:   

  • Identify and foster purposeful partnerships with key scientific influencers based on local ecosystem dynamics to drive new sources of patient value.
  • Support and execute medical strategy, focusing on pre-launch activities predominantly in NSW and VIC.
  • Influence the decision makers in this space and educate external and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with clinical trial sites and support the team on the journey to get the products to market.
  • Participate in numerous conferences and represent the company.
  • Use strong scientific data to build advocacy.
  • Maintain the highest level of knowledge across all competing products.

 

The successful candidate will have:  

  • Degree qualifications in Scientific or Healthcare field.
  • PhD, Masters, or Honours in Science (preferred).
  • Several years of ANZ pharmaceutical experience in Medical Affairs. (Medical Science Liaison experience highly regarded)
  • Strong scientific acumen and understanding of therapeutic areas such as Immunology, Haematology, Neurology, Rheumatology or Rare Disease.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Applicants who possess experience in Immunology, Neurology, Rheumatology, Haematology or Rare Disease will be highly considered.
