This global pharmaceutical company is a leading provider of innovative technologies that impacts the lives of patients suffering from rare diseases. As a market leader, their product portfolio is made up of highly technical Hepatology brands. Their growth trajectory offers the exciting opportunity to be a part of dynamic organisation with access to a strong cross functional team and global growth and development opportunities. Currently they are in search of an experienced Key Account Manager with strong therapy area experience.
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Understanding your accounts and developing strategic business plans
- Engaging with key specialist and allied health professionals
- Maintaining expert scientific knowledge in your specialty area
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the patient pathways from diagnosis to treatment in the hospital and/or community.
- Demonstrate a deep level of understanding of the clinical data, guidelines, and clinical practices to provide value to customers
- Maintain knowledge for the disease state, product, and competitor information
The successful candidate will have:
- A proven track record in Key Account Management, sales in pharmaceuticals or medical device
- Strong strategic planning and key account management skills
- Excellent customer engagement and relationship building skills
- Sound technical and problems solving skills
Candidates with a background in Hepatology will be highly regarded however this is not essential.
