This company is a leading provider of medical devices, with a mission to improve patient outcomes and support healthcare professionals through innovation, quality, and outstanding customer service. As they continue to grow, they are looking for a Contracts and Tenders Specialist to join their team in a newly created role within the Contracts and broader Finance team.

 

You will play a key part in managing commercial agreements across both Australia and NZ. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you’ll support the end-to-end delivery of tenders and contracts—ensuring commercial value, mitigating risk, and driving continuous improvement across the function.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating tender submissions, including reviewing opportunities, assessing ROI, and managing workflows.

  • Partnering with internal teams to develop strong tender strategies and ensure smooth implementation.

  • Reviewing and managing customer contracts, ensuring obligations are met and key dates, risks, and opportunities are tracked.

  • Supporting the development of frameworks and processes that strengthen our contract management function.

  • Delivering actionable insights through commercial analysis, reporting, and performance tracking.

  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes for the business.

This is a highly collaborative and strategic role that will see you working closely with sales, finance, operations, and external partners including customers, procurement teams, suppliers, and legal advisors.

 

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Experience in the healthcare or medical device industry, with a focus on tenders, pricing, or contracts.

  • A strong commercial mindset with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Great communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work across all levels of the business.

  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple projects with ease.

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in business, finance, or a related field.
